Scheduler Responsibilities:

• Obtains accurate information regarding the scheduling of patients for SFH operating rooms through telephone, fax and computer with Physician offices.
• Ensures all Managed Care requirements are met at the time of scheduling and pre-certifications are obtained prior to admissions/procedures.
• Obtains, completes, and follows- up on all pertinent information required to schedule patients.

Scheduler Requirements:

• HS Diploma/GED required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 3 years of Hospital/Physician office scheduling experience.
• Must have excellent problem solving skills, proficient in medical terminology and of OR operations.
