Position Summary
We are hiring a Sr. Digital & IT Analyst to join our talented IT team in Akron, OH. This Sr. Analyst defines, configures, tests, trains and supports business-related information technology requirements and systems. Collaborating with Group and Division subject matter experts and 3rd party IT vendors, will lead directly, or co-lead, single technology or regional IT projects with accountability for completing on time, budget and meeting expectations. This role does not have direct reports.
Essential Functions
- Leads directly, or co-leads, complex and/or divisional or site-level digital and IT project tasks delivering business results that meet deadlines; provide guidance to project resources within and across multiple teams as needed
- Performs business & system analysis. Interprets data to identify gaps in technology or processes and makes recommendations within the IT and/or business function
- Evaluate existing technology to support changes in business requirements.
- Establish and communicate procedures for proper utilization of digital and technical solutions
- Assist in training, and supporting business team members with IT technical needs
- Understand how applications and technologies are utilized within the business.
- Assists in the development and implementation of new technologies/services including communication and reporting to key stakeholders on status and project closure.
- Communicates decisions & formalize recommendations impacting area of responsibility to manager and business partners and key stakeholders where appropriate
- Point of contact assisting with most communications and project expectations with 3rd party IT and service vendors
- Delivers multiple solutions while managing conflicting priorities and resources
- Conducts knowledge transfer and/or cross training with team members
- Empowering and encouraging team members to provide feedback on ideas that deliver quality solutions
- Ability to travel as needed
- Available to provide after-hours and weekend technical support as needed
This position may be assigned the following key Digital and IT disciplines and/or services:
- Business Systems – MES, ERP (SAP or similar), CSM, QMS
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree required in computer science, information systems, or related area (or international equivalent)
- 8+ years related IT experience
- Strong Business Analysis experience and skillset
- Knowledge of project management standards and techniques with proven experience
- Customer service focused with strong consultative, advisory, negotiation, and facilitation skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop and prepare use cases, functional specifications, and technical requirements
- Proven experience with data analysis & reporting tools
- Proficiency with core MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Awareness of Cyber Security best practices
- Strong interpersonal skills, relates well with all levels of the organization with ability to effectively collaborate with multiple teams
- Demonstrated leadership aptitude, learning agility, and adaptability
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage projects effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good organizational and multi-tasking skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Operations, Manufacturing, and Quality Systems, preferably in Aerospace/Defense Industry
- Industry recognized IT certifications
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Agile practices
- Experience with Power BI, Data Flows, Data Marts, Power Automate
- Knowledge of Lean tools and processes
