Position Summary

Guilford College invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor to teach Human Anatomy and Physiology beginning August 2026 through May 2027, with the possibility of a contract extension after the first year. The Biology Department at Guilford employs experiential, inquiry-based learning to stimulate academic excellence through independent thinking, interdisciplinary applications and critical analysis to develop tomorrow’s leaders in the sciences. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Physiology or a related field and a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching. Applicants with M.S. or ABD will be considered.
