Position Title: Administrator – Principal Certification Required


 


Department: Administration


 


Position Category: Permanent, exempt, full-time, 11-month contract


 


Position Summary: Texas Center for Arts + Academics (TCA+A) is seeking qualified and passionate educational leaders to join our Administrator Pool for the 2026–2027 school year. This posting is intended to identify strong candidates for current and future administrative opportunities across our campuses. Our administrators play a vital role in supporting student achievement, fostering a positive campus culture, and ensuring alignment with the mission of providing a rigorous academic program integrated with outstanding arts education.


 


Primary Responsibilities


 


Administrative Roles may include responsibilities such as:



  • Supporting campus leadership in implementing instructional and operational goals

  • Assisting with supervision, evaluation, and development of faculty and staff

  • Promoting a positive and inclusive school culture that supports student success

  • Supporting implementation of curriculum aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS)

  • Assisting with campus operations, student services, and program management

  • Ensuring compliance with district policies, state requirements, and applicable regulations

  • Collaborating with principals, directors, and central administration to support organizational initiatives

  • Assisting with student discipline, parent communication, and campus engagement efforts


 


Physical & Mental Demands, Work Hazards


 


Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office and classroom equipment, including Smart Board, computer and peripherals


Posture: Prolonged sitting and standing; occasional stooping, squatting, kneeling, bending, pushing/pulling, and twisting


Motion: Frequent repetitive hand motions, including keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching


Lifting: Occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 25 pounds)


Environment: Works in an office setting; works irregular and/or prolonged hours; works inside and outside (exposure to sun, heat, cold, and inclement weather); exposure to noise; occasional travel


Attendance: Regular and punctual attendance at the worksite is required for this position


Mental Demands: Maintains emotional control under stress; works with frequent interruptions


 


Minimum Required Qualifications


 


Education: Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university required; Degree in School Administration preferred


Certification/License: Valid Texas Principal Certification required; valid driver license


Experience: 3 years’ successful teaching experience required


Official Transcripts: Required, if hired; Foreign transcripts must be equivocated through an approval agency
