JOB OVERVIEW:

Experienced Sabre specialist who can book air, car, and hotels.

The role will be assisting our independent advisor business owners on all aspects of air travel for their clients. 

WORK SCHEDULE:

• Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 6:45 PM EST or 11 AM to 7:45 PM EST.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Book air, car, and hotel utilizing the Sabre reservation system.
• Mastery in holding, ticketing, voiding, reading commission lines, cancelling, and exchanging flights using the Sabre reservation system.
• Invoicing as required utilizing Sabre or Agent Portal.
• Create proposals and update itineraries in Axus.
• Confirm insurance selection or waiver for each client, as specified.
• Complete all reservations in an accurate and timely manner.
• Adept at using the internet to research destinations, accommodations, reviews, and costs to best meet customers’ travel objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least three (3) years of experience as an air specialist
• At least five (5) years of Sabre required.  Strong knowledge of Sabre reservation system (preferably in graphical mode) including GDS formats, short cuts, enhancements, pricing, fare calculations, e-ticketing, and exchanges.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills to clearly relay information to clients and advise them of their travel options.
• Exhibit a pro-active customer service mentality and maintain a positive attitude.
• Must be well-organized and detail oriented.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle multiple responsibilities.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising has been developed to give applicants a range based on the local market where the candidate would be working.  Many factors, such as years of experience, budget etc. are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.
