Job Description

Position Summary


Successful candidates are expected to work on molecular design and theoretical modeling of soft materials as well as their applications in healthcare and sustainability. Specifically, the candidate is expected to work on 1) theory and experiment for understanding mechano-transport in soft materials, and 2) mechanics of polymer networks with slipping crosslinks. Additionally, the candidate will help mentor students and publish peer-reviewed journal articles.

Required Degree


Doctorate -Mechanical Engineering or closely related


Minimum Requirements


PhD in the area of mechanical engineering or closely related.


Desired Qualifications
