At Jeppesen’s office in central Gothenburg you will work in a one-of-a-kind software

talented, creative and dedicated colleagues. You will learn and broaden your perspective by working with 400 professionals from more than 50 different nations, but also be part of a global organization allowing for collaboration with customers and colleagues across the world. Most importantly, you will be expected to make a difference.

We are now seeking a senior Product Owner to join one of our teams working within Crew Tracking and Web modules at our office in central Gothenburg.

This is a role for a commercially minded product professional who understands how to balance customer value, technical feasibility, and business priorities. You will play a central role in shaping the direction of the product, ensuring clarity of purpose, and enabling the team to deliver sustainable solutions with measurable impact.

The role

As Product Owner, you will be responsible for the team backlog and for ensuring that priorities are aligned with product vision, customer needs, and business objectives. You will work closely with Product Managers, Release Manager, developers, and key stakeholders to define direction, clarify requirements, and support informed decision-making.

You will also help drive experimentation and innovation, contributing to the evolution of our Flight Operations products and exploring how new technologies — including AI — can improve efficiency and strengthen outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Own and prioritize the team backlog with a strong focus on value and maintainability.
  • Translate business objectives and customer needs into clear product direction.
  • Lead discussions around scope, requirements, and ambition levels.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to balance priorities and expectations.
  • Support the team in delivering high-quality, maintainable solutions.
  • Promote a culture of experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to agile ways of working and a focused, high-performing team environment.

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone with the confidence and maturity to operate in a complex environment, where trade-offs are part of everyday decision-making. You know how to create alignment, communicate with credibility, and maintain momentum across multiple stakeholders.

You are structured, perceptive, and driven by quality. You are comfortable working at both strategic and operational levels, and you understand the importance of turning vision into execution.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong experience in stakeholder management and balancing competing priorities.
  • Proven ability to simplify complexity and bring structure to ambiguous situations.
  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies and modern product development practices.
  • High integrity, sound judgment, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Preferred background

  • Engineering background, such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field.
  • Experience from the airline industry.
