Job Description

About the Department

Concessions Coordinator will be responsible for all aspects of concession operations including but not limited to training and supervising Concession Crew Chiefs and Concessionaires, inspecting facilities for safety and cleanliness, assisting with ordering and deliveries, inventory management and product movement, and assisting in last minute schedule changes. They are responsible for the cleanliness of all concession stands and storage areas and the Concessions Trailer. Effective Concessionaire Coordinators must be able to move quickly and efficiently within the concession stand, adhere to food safety guidelines, operate food equipment safely and accurately, follow verbal and written instructions, ensure the overall smooth operation of the facility while on duty, and model this behavior for Crew Chiefs and Concessionaires. They are responsible for making sure concession staff abides by all Hall County Environmental Health Regulations.

Position Duties

Able to understand and perform all duties assigned to Concessionaires and Crew Chiefs.

 

Support Supervision of all part-time concession staff.

 

Work with Concessions Manager to ensure sufficient product is on hand, including procuring product from local retailers when necessary.

 

Managing all aspects of concessions in order to maximize profitability and efficiency.

 

Interacting with patrons and staff in a positive, consistent manner, stepping in to potentially sensitive situations when necessary.

 

Inventorying and stocking concession stands according to FIFO principles in order to reduce waste and spoilage.

 

Assisting the Concessions Manager in the training and hiring of Crew Chiefs and Concessionaires.

 

Assisting with development and/or updating of training materials for Crew Chiefs and Concessionaires.

 

Working concession shifts that are not able to be covered by Crew Chiefs or Concessionaires.

 

Set up and close out concession counter: operating food warmer, coffee percolator, snow cone machine, nacho cheese warmer, gas grill, fryers, etc. including clean-up of this equipment.

 

Have all items ready for sale at prescribed opening time.

 

Maintain prep and serving counters, keeping free of unnecessary items and sanitizing regularly.

 

Maintain concession area in a clean, sanitary, neat and orderly fashion.

 

Maintain neat personal appearance and wear appropriate staff ID/uniform.

 

Ensure staff maintain personal hygiene, neat personal appearance, and wear appropriate ID/uniform.

 

Sign for any deliveries.

 

Report to MOD and Concessions Manager immediately any incident, accident, or unsafe conditions.

 

Other duties as assigned by supervisory staff to facilitate the safe, sanitary, and effective operation of the assigned facility.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience:

 

High School Diploma or equivalent

 

Licenses and Certifications:

 

A valid Georgia Driver’s License (Class C) and satisfactory driving history.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

Friendly and courteous

 

Manual dexterity

 

Reliable & Punctual

 

Access to reliable transportation.

 

Access to mobile phone and ability to navigate apps for scheduling, payroll, and communication

 

Able to handle multiple demands in fast-paced environment

 

Ability to pass DHR training                          

 

Excellent oral and written communication skills  

 

Able to lift boxes and equipment up to 50 lbs.     

 

Ability to work with staff, volunteers and public 

 

Ability to pass all GPRA training (CPR, AED, First Aid, Defensive Driving)
