Job Description

 


  NOTE:  This position is for the 2025-2026 school year. The salary will be based on the 2025-2026 salary schedule which is not yet approved by the Board of Education. The salary listed is based on the current year's salary schedule.

JOB GOAL:


 


       Weight room supervisors are charged with the responsibility of working in conjunction with the activities director and high school varsity head coaches to implement the vision and strategic plan of the athletic department. 


 


Duties, Responsibilities and Expectations inclue but are not limited to:



  1. Knows and follows all policies, procedures, rules and regulaitons of the MSHSAA

  2. Knows and follows all policies, procedures, rules and regulaitons of the conference and tghe Grandview C-4 School District.

  3. Adheres to the athletic department's "Coaches" Core Values"

  4. Meets with the activities director when requested.

  5. Meets all requirements to servie as a weight room supervisor

  6. Attends all scheduled coaches' meetings, trainings, and professional development.

  7. Assists the activities director and the high school head varsity coaches in implementing and supervising the strength and conditiuoning program's instructional and training plan that teaches and prepares student-athletes both mentally and physically.

  8. Provides proper supervision to student-athletes at ALL times

  9. Locks and secures athletic facilities and locker rooms after each use.

  10. Maintains professionalism at all times.     


 Duration:  2.5 months - June, July and part of August.
