Job Summary:
Buena Vista Healthcare is currently seeking a Business Office Assistant (BOA). The ideal professional will be a detail oriented and organized individual that can support daily office functions.
Essential Functions:
Assist with maintaining records of A/R, A/P, payroll, admissions, bank deposits, census, and residents’ personal fund interest-bearing accounts.
Support the monthly billing process for residents and responsible parties.
Assist with the admission of new residents, including helping gather financial information, communicating with responsible parties, and ensuring admission forms are completed.
Help maintain facility petty cash, assist with reconciliation of accounts, and notify the Business Office Manager when replenishment is needed.
Help maintain employee records in accordance with state and federal laws.
Assisting other departments with administrative tasks.
Answer phones and greet visitors in a professional manner.
EDUCATION, LICENSURE, AND EXPERIENCE:
Required: High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred: Knowledge of Microsoft 365
Preferred: One year of business office or administrative experience
