Salt City Coffee is looking for a motivated Production Assistant to join our back of house team. The Production Team is the backbone of Salt City Coffee, ensuring that high quality products are made and delivered in a timely and reliable manner, enabling the retail side of the business to operate seamlessly.

The ideal candidate should be great at working individually and also as part of a small team. Production Assistants receive and fulfill orders for cafes and wholesale clients, stick to a delivery schedule, complete task lists, prepare ingredients, and operate and clean equipment.

This is a physical job that involves lifting items up to 60lb, standing for extended periods, and may involve driving delivery vehicles and operating warehouse equipment like forklifts, handcarts, and pallet jacks.

**Responsibilities:**

• Handle keg beverage production including cleaning, filling, storing, and delivering kegs of cold brew and draft lattes. 
• Assist with staging, loading, and completing deliveries to cafes and wholesale clients
• Routinely maintain and clean all production equipment, production room, and adjacent facilities
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving, organizing storage areas, and tracking inventory
• Assist with Roastery responsibilities like bagging coffee, packing orders, staging deliveries, and more
• Prepare batched homemade ingredients such as syrups and sauces for delivery to cafes
• Assist with event products fulfillment including delivery & pickup of product and equipment, setting up mobile keg fridge, communicating with event hosts as needed
• Ensure that all products and facilities are in line with health department and OSHA safety standards

**Requirements:**

- Prior experience working in a warehouse or back of house environment is preferred

- Dependability, punctuality, and consistency

- Comfort working independently and as part of a small team

- Valid Drivers License

- Ability to problem solve on the fly and adapt to last minute changes

- Availability to work early mornings with occasional weekends and holidays

**Starting Pay: $20 per hour**
