Important Notices:

  • Applications must be submitted at least 90 days before your desired start date.

  • Research placement requests require completing the Nursing and Research Innovation Committee (NRIC) Student Project Approval application in addition to this application.


Eligibility and Placement:

  • This placement application is for MSN and DNP students seeking nonclinical experiences in research, education, leadership or informatics.

  • Per policy and accreditation guidelines, students and their institutions should NOT directly contact potential preceptors. Applications must be submitted using the process outlined below to maintain compliance with accreditation standards.

Special considerations for research placements

If your placement is related to research, you will be prompted to complete the Student Project Approval application as well. Your applications will be considered once both applications are submitted. If you have questions, please email [email protected].

Once student is accepted, the email should have the other standard language, AND:
