Position Overview:

Enfield Public Schools is seeking a passionate and creative Art Educator to join our dynamic team of educators. The ideal candidate will inspire students through a comprehensive visual arts curriculum that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging art instruction aligned with state standards and district goals.


• Foster a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and respect for diverse perspectives.


• Integrate a variety of media, techniques, and technologies to support student learning.


• Collaborate with colleagues, families, and the community to support student growth and achievement.


• Promote student participation in exhibitions, competitions, and community art events.


• Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom that supports all learners.

Qualifications:

• Valid Connecticut Teaching Certification in Art, PK–12 (042).


• Strong knowledge of visual arts content, pedagogy, and assessment strategies.


• Commitment to fostering a love for learning and the arts in all students.


• Ability to support the district’s mission of preparing students to be productive, lifelong learners and responsible citizens.
