Mandarich Law Group is one of the country's leading creditor's right law firm with offices in CA, NV, IL, MI, OH, GA and FL, is seeking a Director of Third-Party Vendor Oversight for our downtown Chicago office.
The Director of Third-Party Vendor Oversight is responsible for managing, monitoring, and ensuring compliance of the law firm’s external service providers for legal, financial, and reputational risks while ensuring vendors meet contractual, regulatory, and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Establishing and maintaining a risk-based oversight program for process server relationships, separate from any performance and/or cost-based oversight programs
- Develop, define, measure, and test metrics related to process server activities
- Host monthly meetings, with agendas and meeting minutes to discuss vendor complaints, trends and other current issues
- Assist with new vendor selection & due diligence
- Regularly assess vendor performance against established metrics and standards, ensuring that all vendors meet quality and delivery expectations.
- Ensure that all vendor activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements, mitigating any potential risks associated with vendor relationships.
- Maintain accurate records of vendor contracts, performance evaluations, and communications, providing regular reports to management on vendor performance and issues.
- Assist executive leadership to negotiate and maintain service level agreements (SLAs) that include compliance obligations, reporting requirements, and termination clauses
- Track vendor performance, compliance with laws (e.g., Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, FDCPA), and adherence to contractual terms
- Conduct Annual Reviews to obtain and review updated documentation and certify compliance with firm and client requirements. Will include onsite assessments of a limited number of vendors.
- Manage vendor termination or project closure plans when necessary
- Conduct periodic compliance audits, risk assessments, and due diligence on vendors
