About the Role

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting environment throughout the community. This position supports daily cleaning, sanitation, and basic upkeep while following safety and infection control standards.

Reports To: Executive Director & Maintenance Director

What You’ll Do

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, hallways, and offices
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors (including stripping, waxing, and buffing)
• Clean windows, mirrors, carpets, and other surfaces
• Empty trash and dispose of waste properly, including infectious materials
• Restock housekeeping supplies and communicate inventory needs
• Follow infection control and isolation cleaning procedures
• Use cleaning products safely and according to guidelines
• Report maintenance concerns or safety issues promptly

What You’ll Need

• No prior experience required – we will train you!
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Must have no history of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of property

Bonus Skills

• Experience with lawn care or outdoor maintenance is a plus 🌿
