The Corporate Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the executive and corporate offices, conference rooms, kitchens, break areas, restrooms, and other areas of the building. Primary focus is to ensure the building’s occupants have a clean and orderly space in which to work throughout the workday.
ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Performs general, routine custodial duties, to include dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, and restocking paper and soap supplies.
- Routinely clean and organize conference rooms, to include white boards, tables, chairs, cables, and equipment.
- Ensure break areas, kitchenettes, and associated furniture and appliances are clean and orderly.
- Cleaning wood, linoleum, carpet, tile, and other floors
- Cleaning rugs and carpets to remove stains
- Changing air filters and cleaning vents
- Dusting all surfaces
- Ordering and stocking new cleaning supplies as needed
- Washing windows and mirrors
- Using equipment, commercial vacuums, floor buffers and carpet cleaners
- Collecting and taking out trash and recycling
- Performs routine maintenance to custodial equipment and supplies.
- Reports needs and concerns to appropriate staff.
- Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
- Assists in monitoring performance of third-party service vendors.
- May provide vendors with access to areas for cleaning and may answer basic questions. May report issues with vendors to supervisor.
- Performs cleaning functions specific to the assigned facilities and/or based on seasonal/project requirements.
- May assist with minor maintenance, such as replacing light bulbs, adjusting furniture, or other similar activities.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS
- Able to perform physical labor consistent with lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, walking, climbing, standing, and bending.
- Familiar with the safe and proper use of common cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Able to maintain professional appearance and communicate with various management and teams in a proper and professional manner at all times
EDUCATON & EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma
- Experience operating common office cleaning equipment and tools
