We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery on construction sites, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong understanding of equipment operation and maintenance, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to achieve project goals.
Duties
- Operate heavy machinery including backhoes, slab saw, wall saw, core drill, excavator, skid-steer and loaders.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to coordinate tasks and maintain workflow.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in the construction process by moving materials, grading land, and performing excavation tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and report any issues or malfunctions promptly.
Skills
- Experience with commercial driving a plus
- Strong understanding of construction site operations and safety practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
