Lawn Maintenance Technician

Green Oasis is looking for self-motivated, enthusiastic individuals to develop a career in the lawn care field. We are in search of year-round staff members, willing to work 40+ hours a week Monday - Friday from March until November, then winter Christmas lighting and snow removal from November through February.

In this role, the applicant would oversee these tasks on a day-to-day basis:

• Operate & maintain a zero-turn mower plus string trimmer and leaf blower.
• Complete route-based work, stopping from job site to job site to mow customer properties.
• Interact with customers to answer questions about their service or other services Green Oasis offers.
• Utilize a company provided truck and trailer to haul equipment to different locations.

A well-qualified applicant will possess the following traits and skills:

• Technical & mechanical aptitude towards lawn maintenance systems, equipment and processes.
• Have the capability to work as a team member and in an individual setting.
• Customer service skills and abilities to produce additional sales opportunities.
• Attention to detail is essential. Ability to read and write English, including maps and diagrams. General Plant and Lawn knowledge is a plus.
• Stand, bend and walk for more than 8 hours a day in various weather conditions.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and team members via written and verbal applications.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Starting at $18.00 + Annual Bonus

Schedule:

• 8–10-hour shifts
• Monday thru Friday, Weekends available but not mandatory
• Overtime (available)
