Job Description

Description

Sports Staff: 

This position provides direct supervision in a variety of sports programs and events. This summer, this position will work with the Curiosity Camp, a 6-week program of themed activities in a half-day camp environment. You will create a positive, nurturing relationship with the participants. You will promote and support the potential of all youth in programs and you will facilitate peer-to-peer connections as part of the overall program experience.

Requirements

  • At least 15 years old 
  • Minimum Education: enrolled in High School and working towards diploma
  • Knowledge of the sport and basic understanding of the rules of the sport
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership and show enthusiasm
  • Experience working with children and adults, participating in sports, and preferably officiating
  • CPR/AED/First Aid Certification within 60 days of hire if not currently certified

    • The employee has worked 1,000 hours during each of any two 12-month periods

Summary

Shifts Needed:

Monday through Friday: 8:45am to 11:45am the following weeks: 

June 15th - 19th

June 22nd - 26th

July 6th - 10th 

July 13th - 17th

July 20th - 24th 

August 3rd -7th
