Role Summary

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative, who will manage and oversee all Customer service-related questions and claims by receiving, analyzing, and taking necessary actions to process and resolve incidents and escalations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, internal stakeholders, and carriers regarding claims and related inquiries
  • Collect, review, and maintain all necessary documentation to assess claim validity
  • Prepare and issue liability letters for validated claims to initiate the settlement process, ensuring all relevant stakeholders are informed
  • Manage and update claims within internal systems, escalating high-value or complex cases to senior management as required
  • Ensure timely and accurate booking of compensation, verifying amounts in coordination with finance processes
  • Take ownership of the end-to-end financial lifecycle of claims, including analysis, monitoring, and stakeholder communication
  • Identify trends and root causes within claims data, driving continuous improvement through short- and long-term solutions

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you bring foundational experience in the logistics industry, particularly in transport and warehousing. A proactive mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively connect with both internal and external stakeholders are key to excelling in this position.

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service and resolving issues efficiently
  • Possesses a good command of Business English
  • Communicates professionally and effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Has prior experience in a logistics environment; experience with claims, damage, or returns handling is a strong advantage
  • Holds a relevant tertiary qualification in logistics (e.g., MBO or equivalent), which is considered a plus
