| The Certified or Registered Medical Assistant collects vital signs and patient history, collects specimens and performs basic laboratory tests, administers injections and medications as directed by physician in addition to other clinical tasks. Administrative duties include ordering supplies, updating/maintaining medical records and scheduling appointments. Works under the guidance and supervision of a LPN, RN or Physician. | |||||||||||||

| * One year of experience in a healthcare environment preferred | |||||||||||||
| * One year of Medical Assistant experience preferred | |||||||||||||
| Licenses/Certificates: | |||||||||||||
| * Current certification as a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant | |||||||||||||
| * BLS/CPR certification renewed by the recommended renewal date. American Red Cross (ARC) or Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification required within 90 days of hire date and renewed by the recommended renewal date thereafter. |
