Summary
Registered Nurse, RN plans and implements professional nursing care for patients in accordance with hospital policies. Assumes charge nurse responsibilities as assigned.Plans and implements positive interpersonal skills, effective organizational, teaching, and leadership skills. Visual and auditory acuity required. Prior experience with Orthopedic/Neurosurgical, General & Podiatry surgery, Surgical Drains, Tracheotomy, Trauma, Vascular, Cardio monitoring, PCA Pumps, and Telemetry required. 3-5 years of related clinical experience preferred.
Verbal and written skills required. Is knowledgeable of the age specific physiological, psychosocial, developmental and spiritual needs of the patients typically served. Much standing, walking, bending and lifting. Position may involve skin, eye, mucous membrane, or parenteral contact with blood or other potentially infectious material.
