**Job Summary:

Seeking a Senior Manager of Meetings and Special Events to act as the primary liaison between meeting planners and the hotel. In this role, you will represent the organization to clients for complex multi-day programs, focusing on client satisfaction and hotel profitability through strategic sales approaches and yield management techniques.


Responsibilities:

- Serve as the key contact for high-level, multi-day complex programs

- Develop and nurture client relationships throughout the planning process

- Implement sales strategies and yield management to optimize hotel profitability

- Cultivate relationships with clients and vendors to drive repeat business

- Assist in menu planning and pricing for banquet events

- Negotiate and manage vendors for successful program execution

- Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills during all stages of planning

- Make independent decisions to meet client needs and hotel capabilities

- Lead client meetings and coordinate with hotel department managers

- Provide clear instructions to hotel departments for operational efficiency

- Oversee all conference activities, events, and operations

- Collaborate with and mentor administrative coordinators

- Maximize function space and equipment utilization for increased sales

- Conduct financial forecasting and contribute to departmental projects

- Promote internal services such as Design Studio, Audio-Visual, and Dining options


Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role, ideally in a luxury market

- Self-motivated with strong written and verbal communication skills

- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities

- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively, even under pressure

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, technology, and social media platforms
