    There are S.A.F.E. Summer Extended Learning positions available at partner agencies for summer 2026.  The partner agencies are the Wayfinder, Friendly House and M1.

    In-person instruction/intervention will be developed and delivered at the partner agency using approved strageties and tools for grades K -8. The rate is $32.76 per hour for up to 20 hours per week. 

    Students will be identified for support based on data including, but not limited to grades, attendance, NWEA MAP, AIR assessments, etc. 

    Programs will be developed and delivered at the partner agency using approved strategies and tools.  Applicants, in collaboration with the Director of Student Support Programs may select from one of the following examples.- In-Person Instruction/Intervention

    - Assessments will be supervised by teacher.

    Listed below are some duties, responsibilities and requirements for this position:

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. Accredited college/university degree.

    2. Valid Ohio certification for grades PreK-6 (substitute certification not accepted).

    JOB OBJECTIVE (S)

    To provide the instruction, motivation and encouragement that will enable the students to fulfill their optimum potential and achieve at the highest level.

     

    DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE TO Director of Student Support Programs or their designee

     

    DUTIES/PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Implement by instruction and action the district's philosophy of education, goals, and objectives.

    2. Implement and maintain the approved course of study.

    3. Be regular and punctual in attendance.

    4. Maintain accurate, complete and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulations.

    5. Establish and maintain a cooperative relationship with co-workers, as well as supervisory personnel.

    6. Provide for the safety and welfare of students and staff.

    7. Maintain confidentiality with regard to information about students, staff, and parents.

    8. Help foster desirable relations between the school and community.

    9. Plan and provide appropriate instruction for the students assigned to his/her class(es).

    10. Prepare and maintain long-term and daily lesson plans describing the objectives and activities that directly relate to the Board adopted curriculum.

    11. Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media consistent with the needs and capabilities of the individuals or student groups involved.

    12. Exhibit responsibility in maintaining proper building disciplinary procedures.

    13. Maintain appropriate student discipline and a classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.

    14. Work to establish and maintain open lines of communication with students and their parents concerning student academic and behavioral progress.

    15. Perform other reasonably related duties as may be assigned by the building administration or their designee..
