Objective


 


As an apprentice in the industrial sector at Nemak Wernigerode GmbH, you'll start directly in our modern, in-house training workshop and remain there for a total of 3.5 years. After passing the AP1 (first practical exam), you'll move to the specialist departments in your second year and gain practical experience. In your fourth year, you'll return to the training workshop to receive targeted preparation for your final exam.

Your Tasks


 


During your apprenticeship, you will build, modify, and expand complex automation systems. You will program and configure systems, test their functions, and ensure their safety.


 


You will assemble, install, and set up machines and drive systems – including pneumatic components. You will also build and wire control cabinets and automation systems.


 


 


Your Profile


 


- Secondary school leaving certificate or (specialized) university entrance qualification, ideally


  with good grades in mathematics and physics


- Interest in circuit diagrams and drive systems, including pneumatic components


- Analytical thinking and a structured work approach


- Willingness to learn, commitment, and teamwork skills


- Good knowledge of German, mathematics, and physics, and ideally, knowledge of English
