Job Summary

The School Counselor Intern will have opportunities to engage in all aspects of the work including: data analysis and presentation, counseling, consultation with teachers, site-based staff support, ERMHS therapeutic and behavior support team collaboration, crisis intervention, prevention efforts, behavioral interventions, and collaboration and implementation of MTSS interventions.

Requirements / Qualifications

The following supporting documentation must be scanned and attached with your online application:
-Completion or anticipated completion of a Master’s degree in School Counseling or a closely related field
-Current enrollment in an accredited graduate program in School Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology, or Social Work
-Placement must be formally approved and coordinated through the intern’s university or graduate program
-Completion of applicable graduate coursework in counseling theory, assessment, and school-based intervention prior to placement
-Bilingual Spanish/English proficiency preferred

- Letter of Introduction written expressly for this recruitment.
- Two Letters of Recommendation

Salary Info

The Intern position will be paid via a stipend of $10,000; the Intern will be paid throughout the year.
