Description:
Shakopee Public Schools is searching for a 7th Grade Life Science Teacher (1.0 FTE) to join the staff at West Middle School and East Middle School.

Job Summary:
Provides instruction in content area in accordance with each student's ability, creates a classroom environment that fosters student learning and personal growth. Establishes effective working relationships with students and parents, works collaboratively with other staff members.

Qualifications:

• Current MN teaching license in Science 5-8, Science 5-9 or 6-12 Life Science
• Experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated instruction.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to build successful relationships with students, parents and staff.

Salary ranges from $52,020 to $126,971 depending upon education level and experience.
