Job Description

Summary:

Yorktown Systems Group is seeking a qualified Dynamic Scripting/Strategic Intelligence SME to support NATO’s Joint Force Training Center (JFTC) located in Bydgoszcz, Poland conducting training and exercises for the NATO Command Structure (NCS) and NATO Force Structure (NFS) to ensure operational ability and interoperability in a variety of environments. 

Using the Exercise Scenario, MEL/MIL builds storylines designed to trigger certain decisions and activities in the Training Audience (TA), based on the Exercise and Training Objectives. The intensities of various portions of the Exercise Scenario can be manipulated via the MEL/MIL in order to target specific effects within the TA. Intelligence SMEs’ contribution to the MEL/MIL process is of critical importance for the successful execution of the Exercise and Training Objectives. Intelligence SMEs are part of the Intelligence Coordination Cell and is subordinate to the Intel Coordination Cell Chief. The cell facilitates dynamic INTEL scripting and controls INTEL discipline specific play ICCW INTEL personnel of Response Cells.

Specific duties may include, but are not limited to: 

Specific tasks and deliverables during Preparation Phase – MEL/MIL Workshops: 

The overall responsibility of Dynamic Scripting/Strategic Intelligence Coordinator will be to contribute to enhance/improve all the storyboards/incidents that will be created during the incident development workshop, add workshop necessary strategic level Intelligence products under the guidance of Event Manager and Storyline Custodians. This person may be also required to perform Storyline Custodian duties. Storyline Custodian under D&G of Event Manager, on top of scripting injects, is responsible for refining the incident, ensuring internal consistency of the storyline and compliance with exercise aims and objectives.

Specific tasks and deliverables during Execution Phase of the exercise:

Dynamic Scripting/Strategic Intelligence Coordinator follows D&G from Intel Coordination Cell Chief. He / she will perform dynamic scripting of injects and reports IOT simulate the top-down flow of information to the Training Audience. Coordinates all Intel information originating (simulated) from joint and strategic level (top-down) with EXCON INTEL discipline (IMINT, SIGINT, HUMINT, etc.) coordinators, in order to achieve exercise training objectives.

Required Qualifications:  

  • Minimum of 3 years professional background in a NATO, Joint or Combined Staff.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in intelligence operations.
  • Working experience in developing multiple-source INTEL products, preferably across all domains.
  • Extensive understanding and experience with planning and tasking of intelligence units and sensors and with collection, analysis and production of multiple-source intelligence products at different levels and across different operations.
  • Qualifications/experience in using NATO Functional Area Systems (FAS) to include INTEL FS.
  • A native English language speaker or an individual presenting excellent command of spoken and written English, with a proven ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing at the level of (SLP) NATO STANAG 6001 - 3333 (Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing).

Clearance: Must possess an active NATO or U.S. SECRET or higher security clearance.

Location: NATO Joint Force Training Centre, Bydgoszcz, Poland

Travel: CONUS and OCONUS travel will be required.
