Job Description

The Recruiter/People and Culture Coordinator  job is to provide support for the work of the People and Culture team through the recruiting, onboarding, and retention of quality team members in the role of Behavior Treatment Technician and other positions as assigned by the People and Culture Manager.   Moreover, this position supports People and Culture employee support and engagement initiatives onsite at the Pleasant Prairie and Mount Pleasant clinics under the supervision of the People and Culture Manager.

This position works 100% onsite between our Pleasant Prairie and Mount Pleasant clinics.

Recruiter

  • Act as recruiter in posting job ads on careers pages and processing received resumes

  • Conduct phone interviews for the Behavior Treatment Technician and similarly titled positions, scheduling quality candidates for onsite interview within 48-72 hours after a successful phone interview

  • Organize, manage, and lead new employee orientation, on-boarding, and training programs

  • Provide administrative support for the People and Culture team 

  • Organize, compile, update company personnel records and documentation in UKG

  • Manage and update UKG, CR, and CR Institute (in collaboration with CR Institute Librarian) with different information on new hires

  • Answer employees’ questions and provide requested information in support at the PP and MP clinics

  • Maintain schedule and coordinate hiring events at the PP and MP clinics as well as outside career fairs, community events, etc. in which Sonnenberg Consultants LLC is a participant

  • Answer telephone calls and provide needed information

 

People and Culture Coordinator

  • Assist in the facilitation of documented discussions, values agreements/PIPs, etc. as requested by the People and Culture Manager

  • Be present in assisting with employee needs and providing welcome in the morning block (POD, drop off, etc.) every day that the team member is present at the clinic including warning forms for late arrivals, etc.

  • Be present and assist at employee engagement events held onsite at clinics as well as offsite (Sonnenberg Christmas Party, Annual Autism Skating event, and Sonnenberg Summer party).

  • Serve as the point of contact for home clinic for events such as donut day, chocolate chip cookie day, etc., for employee engagement
  • Be able to answer routine benefits and payroll questions for BTTs while directing more complex matters to the People and Culture Manager.

  • Escalate employee relations concerns and complex issues to the People and Culture Manager and other management team members as needed.

  • Provide basic support for safety at the clinic, including but not limited to assisting with opening work comp claims in the absence of the People and Culture Manager
  • Files or uploads documents including but not limited to confidentiality agreements, employment related documents, and other items at the request of the People and Culture Manager

 

Requirements 

 

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree or other technical studies in Human Resources is preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience in recruiting for non-exempt entry-level positions required; 1 year of HR employee relations experience is strongly preferred

  • Must have basic PC knowledge, minimum typing speed of 35 wpm, ability to write and communicate professionally

  • Must be service oriented and possess the ability to work under pressure.

  • Should possess the ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.

 

ADA Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds regularly

  • Finger dexterity to type on a computer keyboard 

  • The ability to grasp objects such as pencils, pens, markers etc.    

  • Manage Moderate to high stress levels in a healthy manner 

  • Be able to actively engage with clients and staff

  • Engages in critical thinking
