Responsibilities
- Inspire and lead a dynamic team of campus recruitment professionals across the Greater Montréal area, including coaching, development, engagement, and performance management.
- Define the regional vision and priorities to successfully execute the national campus recruitment strategy (targets, resource allocation, and strategic execution).
- Act as a strategic partner to regional service and HR leaders to anticipate talent needs and align recruitment initiatives accordingly.
- Develop strong, long-term partnerships with universities, faculty members, and career centres to increase visibility, strengthen employer branding, and expand the talent pipeline.
- Position the employer brand distinctively on campus through creative initiatives, high-impact events, and memorable candidate experiences.
- Manage and optimize the regional budget (events, sponsorships, promotional materials) to maximize return on investment.
- Drive performance through key metrics (pipeline health, diversity, time-to-hire, event ROI, etc.) and deliver data-driven strategic recommendations.
- Represent the firm with pride in national campus initiatives and ensure effective regional adaptation of tools and strategies.
- Maintain a strong on-the-ground presence, including attending some evening and weekend events, to promote the brand and support the team.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of team leadership experience in a campus or talent acquisition environment.
- Experience in a professional services firm or a high-volume recruitment setting (strong university network and student relations experience highly preferred).
- Proven experience managing internal and external stakeholders, with the ability to collaborate closely with regional and national leaders.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to a wide range of audiences.
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including event planning, budget management, and timelines.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, databases, and university/post-secondary recruitment platforms.
- Fluency in French, both written and spoken, is required. English is necessary to communicate with English-speaking partners, clients, or stakeholders.
