SUMMARY: Proactive person Operating under direct supervision, responsible for executing and documenting material handling functions relating to inventory movements, system consumptions, and overall inventory activities in general.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Execute material handling tasks including receiving, storing, and distributing material according to established standard operating procedures for all tasks
- Performs accurate system transactions of all the inventory movements ensuring compliance with organization standards
- Record and document material consumption in the system, ensuring real-time updates.
- Supply production areas with the materials as needed.
- Contribute to inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and prompt reconciliation of discrepancies
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate material movements and address any issues promptly.
- Keep safety protocols during material handling activities and report any safety concerns immediately.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and collaborate with the team to implement improvements.

Nocturno 4x3 Miércoles a Sábado 6:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m
SUPERVISION:
Under general supervision, routine duties are carried out with minimal supervision, Standard practices and established procedures empower the employee to work independently on routine tasks; requiring occasional checks while work is in progress. Comprehensive reviews are conducted upon task completion to ensure adherence to standards and quality expectations.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma, and 0-1 years of proven material handler experience or a related field, understanding of inventory management systems and procedures, strong leadership, ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficient computer skills for data entry and system transactions including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, basic spreadsheet knowledge, graphics, etc
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
- Ability to read and understand documentation associated with a specific discipline, ensuring accurate interpretation
- Demonstrated ability to complete company/department training courses in material handling, showcasing a commitment to continuous learning and skill development
- Immediate supervision: receive close supervision related to specific work activities, assignments, and methods, usually receive frequent surveillance over job activities; instructions are detailed and assignments are typically short-term
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
MANUAL DEXTERITY: Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers.
VISION REQUIREMENTS: No special vision requirements.

Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation.
