Join Our Team as a Full-Time Deli Clerk – Yorktown Heights, NY!

Do you love helping people find the perfect sandwich or salad? Are you passionate about fresh, delicious deli foods? At Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace in Yorktown Heights, NY, we’re looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Full-Time Deli Clerk to join our busy, customer-focused team!

 

If you enjoy working in a lively, fast-paced environment and love interacting with customers while sharing your knowledge of gourmet deli items, this is the perfect role for you. You’ll be a key part of creating a positive shopping experience that keeps our customers coming back for more!

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Take and fulfill deli orders accurately and with a smile.

  • Slice and prepare meats, cheeses, and other deli items to Uncle G’s high standards.

  • Make delicious deli salads, sandwiches, and other prepared foods.

  • Keep your counter, equipment, and work area clean, organized, and inviting.

  • Stock and rotate products to ensure freshness and quality.

  • Help with inventory counts, labeling, and packaging as needed.

  • Provide friendly, knowledgeable service, answering questions and guiding customers.

  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and operational procedures.

  • Support your teammates and help the deli run smoothly every day.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • 18+ years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.

  • Experience working in a deli or food service, including slicing meats/cheeses and making salads.

  • Strong English communication skills.

  • Friendly, customer-focused, and passionate about providing excellent service.
