SUBSTITUTE - CUSTODIANS

 

 

Job Title: Substitute Custodians    Reports to:   Maintenance Manager    FLSA Status:  Non-Exempt

 

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED;


• Fingerprint background check is required;


• Must pass a criminal background check that meets required state, federal, and Clarkston School District standards;


• Must have, or be able to obtain, current valid CPR/First aid certificate


• Safe Schools Training is REQUIRED, and needs to be completed BEFORE start date

Job Description:

• Sweep, mop, wax, buff, and scrub floors


• Empty trash and garbage containers


• Dust, wax, and polish furniture and woodwork and metal work


• Wash windows, walls, and blinds


• Move and arrange furniture as required


• Unlock and lock buildings


• Prepare buildings for meetings and programs


• Remove snow and ice from sidewalks and other areas as required


• Other duties may be required by building administrator


• Other duties as assigned by Maintenance Manager
