St. Benedict Catholic School is seeking a Grade 5 Math and Science Teacher for the 2026�2027 school year. We are a faith-filled Catholic learning community committed to academic excellence and the formation of the whole child�spiritually, academically, and socially.

Position Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, hands-on Math and Science instruction for students in grade 5
• Foster student growth in STEM learning and scientific inquiry
• Create a positive, structured, and faith-centered classroom environment that supports student success
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and families to support student achievement
• Support and uphold the mission and values of Catholic education
• Participate in faculty meetings, school events, and ongoing professional development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
• Valid Ohio teaching license or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to collaboration, continuous improvement, and faith-based education
