Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement Lean methodologies to increase efficiency and reduce operational waste.
  • Engage teams across the organization to embed continuous improvement and Lean principles.
  • Oversee multiple cross-functional improvement initiatives from planning to execution.
  • Coach and train employees at all levels to develop a culture of continuous improvement.

Job Duties

  • Analyze and optimize workflows to improve cycle times, standardization, and effectiveness.
  • Facilitate Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Kaizen events, and other Lean exercises.
  • Develop change management strategies to ensure smooth process adoption.
  • Support strategic planning activities including capacity planning and capital project prioritization.
  • Use Lean problem-solving tools to drive improvements in key performance indicators.
  • Design and deliver Lean training programs, including Gemba walks and workshops.
  • Promote a culture of open communication, professional development, and innovation.
  • Collaborate with various departments during events and follow-up sessions.
  • Travel up to 10%

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required (Master’s preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience leading Lean initiatives in manufacturing, engineering, or corporate settings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Visio and AutoCAD; knowledge of Minitab or similar tools is a plus.
  • Comfortable balancing strategic office work with on-site operational engagement.
