    Glen Ellyn District 41 is Seeking an Full-Time Elementary Band Teacher for the 2026-2027 School Year
     

    License Requirements: IL PEL(Professional Educator License) with an Music Endorsement Required 

    The successful candidate will possess the following knowledge and skills:

    Understanding and willingness to differentiate instruction, as needed, for multiple learning styles and ability levels
    Experience with a wide range of teaching, classroom management, and assessment strategies and the ability to apply these in the elementary classroom setting
    Willingness and ability to collaborate with classroom teachers on content area instruction and student needs
    Ability and commitment necessary to develop and continuously improve curriculum for elementary students
    Ability to communicate student progress to parents and to classroom teachers
