The Campaign Maintenance Shop Technician is responsible for executing preventative, corrective, and campaign-based maintenance equipment to support safe, reliable operations on Alaska’s North Slope. This role performs troubleshooting, repairs, and rebuilds in a remote shop environment and supports field mobilizations during maintenance campaigns.

- Maintain clean, organized, and safe shop areas; manage tools, parts, and consumables.
- Support parts identification and ordering with inventory control systems; track usage against work orders.
- Perform rigging, lifting, and safe equipment positioning using cranes, hoists, and forklifts.
- Assist with mobilization/demobilization of equipment for field campaigns and project execution.
- Perform preventative/corrective maintenance on light/heavy-duty equipment (e.g., pickups, loaders, dozers, graders, forklifts, skid steers, generators, pumps, heaters).
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues using diagnostic tools and OEM manuals.
- Execute component rebuilds (e.g., engines, transmissions, differentials, pumps) and replace wear parts per campaign scope.
- Conduct winterization of fluids, heaters, insulation, seals to ensure cold-weather readiness.
- Complete equipment inspections (pre-/post-use, campaign sign-off) and roadworthiness checks.
- Maintain 100% “Safety Standards and Accountability” in all areas or mandatory/regulatory requirements, which include:
- Maintain compliance with the required HSE Training.
- Taking necessary action when behaviors or conditions around you may be unsafe.
- Reporting and addressing all potential safety concerns/incidents/issues promptly and willingly participate and assist in any investigation that may relate to a safety incident.
- Performs work in strict compliance with permitting requirements, Alaska Safety Handbook (ASH) Standards and other compliance-oriented directives.
- Participating in safety meetings, working safely, and maintaining a safe work environment as an employee and representative of CCI Industrial Services.
- Document and record any injury or near miss incident that may occur while you are working.
- Demonstrate and promote safe work practices by participating in JSA reviews, pre-job walkdowns and safety START card preparations covering work activities and materials required by the company and the client.
- Promote and participate in Safety Programs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge of heavy equipment systems: diesel engines, hydraulics, powertrains, braking, electrical/charging, DEF/emissions, and telematics.
- Cold-weather maintenance practices: winterization, arctic fluids, block/heater systems, battery management, and material behavior in subzero temps.
- Maintenance methodologies: PM/PdM/CM, precision maintenance, torquing, alignment, vibration basics.
- Advanced troubleshooting using diagnostic software, multimeters, pressure/vacuum gauges, scan tools.
- Prioritize and execute under tight campaign timelines with minimal supervision.
- Adapt to changing priorities, emergency work, and after-hours call-outs during campaign peaks.
- Strong documentation—clear work orders, parts lists, and condition reports with photos.
- Safe rigging & lifting, forklift operation, overhead crane basics.
- Effective communication with planners, supervisors, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
