Job Description

IMPORTANT:

  • This Position is 100% ON-SITE at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) in Los Alamos, New Mexico
  • Long-term travel arrangements and per diem are available (subject to LANL travel guidelines)
  • NUCLEAR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED

Compensation Range: $147,500 to $165,000 / Year (depending on qualifications)

Join the Global Engineering & Technology (GET) team supporting vital national security work at LANL as a Construction Project Manager / Superintendent leading mission-critical construction projects at the TA-55 facility. We are seeking qualified individuals to fill multiple positions for this long-term effort, providing first-rate leadership and oversight of impactful work that supports our nation's nuclear deterrent posture.

DUTIES:

  • May serve as a Control Account Manager (CAM) responsible for planning, budgeting, managing, and controlling costs and schedule performance for a project or subproject, and serve as a point of contact for project controls, including account scope, schedule, budget, and technical performance.
  • Ensures work packages realistically represent the duration and budget necessary to perform work and perform variance analysis reviews, determine the cause and effect of schedule or cost variance, and define achievable corrective action plans.
  • May be required to present project management performance plans, status updates, trends, or issues to federal sponsors.
