Job Description


Customer service lead, providing general records and registration customer service to the campus community via phone, email, and in person. Responsible for triaging and responding to Registrar's Office emails. Assists students, faculty, and staff regarding academic records, registration, scheduling, state and federal regulations, and university policies and procedures with particular emphasis on the maintenance of student academic information. Produces enrollment/degree verifications. Processes grade changes, change of majors/minors, assigning academic advisors, and the academic petition process. Reviews and processes domicile appeals, determines in-state eligibility. Supports various Registrar's Office functions during peak periods.






Required Qualifications


Experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven customer service setting. Demonstrated ability to effectively work and communicate in a team environment serving a diverse population. Experience interpreting and disseminating policies, procedures, and department information. Experience with data entry and database systems, proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel. Demonstrated planning and problem-solving skills.






Preferred Qualifications:


Experience providing administrative support in higher education student services or academic affairs settings. Experience working with computer applications and technology which supports educational institutions such as Banner, PeopleSoft, Colleague, Imaging systems, etc. Knowledge of FERPA and other federal privacy and academic records maintenance regulations in a higher education environment. Experience working with confidential and detailed information.
