Description: Roseville Area Schools has a vacancy for a .5 FTE Districtwide Teacher on Special Assignment working as an ASD Assessment Team member starting August 31, 2026. This position serves as a resource to school teams to provide evaluation services grounded in equity, resulting in positive learner outcomes, and will include the following:

• Provide leadership through resource support to staff, students and families regarding evidence-based practices and interventions related to ASD.
• Support district-wide special education teams with ASD assessments.
• Possess strong relationship and communication skills with a strong equity perspective.
• Possess knowledge of and have experience with MN State and Federal laws and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.
• Compose, disseminate, and lead professional development in identified areas of need.
• Support scholars in kindergarten through transition services. 

Qualifications and Required Licensure:

• MN Board of Teaching Licensure in ASD.
• 5+ years of experience working with students receiving special education services primarily in the areas of ASD.
• 2+ years of leadership experience.
• Preferred: Trained in ADOS and CARS in the last 2 years. 

Compensation: Minimum full year, full time starting salary is $53,085 (prorated based on FTE), plus a district contribution toward insurance and other benefits.
