The Role
We are looking for an Associate Project Manager (APM) to join our Modern Platforms team and support the delivery of infrastructure modernization, cloud, and platform transformation projects. This role is ideal for an early‑career project professional who wants hands‑on exposure to real enterprise delivery while building a path toward a full Project Manager role.
You will work closely with experienced Project Managers, engineers, and delivery leaders to help keep projects organized, on track, and moving forward.
Responsibilities Include:
- Support Project Managers across one or more Modern Platforms engagements.
- Coordinate Internal Kick-offs (IKO) and Customer Kick-offs (CKO), including scheduling, agendas, deck preparation, and follow‑ups.
- Maintain project plans, trackers, meeting notes, and action items.
- Assist with resource scheduling and coordination across delivery teams.
- Lead end-to-end execution of small to mid-scale projects, while supporting larger initiatives as required
- Track risks, issues, and dependencies and escalate proactively.
- Drive consistent communication and alignment across PMO, product owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project execution
- Support project status updates and stakeholder communications.
- Ensure delivery processes, documentation, and project hygiene are followed.
- Function as a dependable support partner to PMs during active delivery cycles.
- Experience with project management tools (Jira, MS Project, etc.)
Required Skills and Professional Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, PMO or delivery support roles.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Comfortable working with cross‑functional and remote teams
- Willingness to learn and grow within a structured project management framework.
Preferred Skills and Professional Experience:
- Certifications (Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), PRINCE2), Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
- Foundational certifications in AWS and Azure
- Exposure to IT infrastructure, DevOps, cloud migration & modernization or professional services projects.
- Basic understanding of project management fundamentals (scope, schedule, cost, risks, dependencies)
- Experience supporting internal and customer‑facing meetings.
- Familiarity with delivery tools, project trackers, or collaboration platforms
- Experience working with global or distributed delivery teams.
- Strong interest in developing into a Project Manager role.
