We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead 24/7 manufacturing operations at our Pensacola site. This role is responsible for driving safe, reliable, and cost‑effective production while delivering high‑quality products and developing strong teams. As a key member of the site leadership team, the Production Manager plays a critical role in operational excellence, continuous improvement, and site culture.
Responsibilities:
- Champion a positive, inclusive, and high‑performance site culture by actively engaging employees, reinforcing safety and accountability, and leading by example
- Lead day‑to‑day manufacturing operations 24/7, ensuring the safe and consistent production of high‑quality products across all manufacturing and packaging lines.
- Foster a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with environmental, health, safety, and process safety requirements.
- Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, reliability, productivity, and cost performance.
- Maintain strong field presence to reinforce expectations, engage employees, and promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Lead, develop, and retain a skilled operations workforce through effective coaching, performance management, and succession planning.
- Investigate incidents and near misses, ensuring timely corrective actions and implementation of operational learnings.
- Set operational priorities, remove barriers, and partner with technical and maintenance teams to resolve operational challenges.
- Prepare and manage operating budgets and support development, and execution of capital improvement plans.
- Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Maintenance, and other functions to meet customer demand and business objectives.
- Manage and coordinate contract labor resources to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant performance.
- Communicate site performance, risks, and improvement plans to leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical preferred) or equivalent manufacturing leadership experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with increasing levels of leadership responsibility.
- Strong working knowledge of industrial safety, process safety, and quality systems.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams, managing change, and driving continuous improvement.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to build trust, influence across functions, and develop high‑performing teams.
- High personal integrity with a commitment to safety, ethics, and inclusive leadership.
