In this daytime and occasional weekend role, you'll dive into a variety of engaging tasks to keep our residential homes, in excellent condition. Your responsibilities will include preventive maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep of residential homes systems; from plumbing and HVAC to carpentry and painting. Full-time hourly position ranging from $19.44 to $24.85 an hour DOE plus benefits. Located in Albuquerque, NM. Floating between multiple properties. Weekend work may occasionally be required. Schedule adjustments may be made to support business needs.

Position Purpose:

Reporting directly to the Quality Assurance Manager. The Maintenance Technician plays a key role in the operation and maintenance of buildings. This position requires a high level of dependability, technical skill, and professionalism. The technician will perform a broad range of semi-skilled maintenance duties, including repair, construction, and remodeling of facilities and equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to work orders and perform routine maintenance tasks
  • Maintain equipment per preventive maintenance schedules
  • Inspect buildings, grounds, and systems for safety or operational issues
  • Perform general facility maintenance including:
    • Basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs
    • Drywall, painting, and tile work
    • Carpentry, locks, windows, and roofing repairs
    • Landscaping and groundskeeping
  • Repair and maintain fixtures such as toilets, sinks, showers, drains, floors, and floors
  • Adhere to safety, health, and sanitation standards at all times
  • Other duties as assigned, across any Great Livin' properties

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities maintenance and/or construction
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • OSHA knowledge
  • Ability to work in varied conditions, including confined spaces, outdoor environments, and locations with residence.
  • Ability to push/pull/lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license with reliable transportation and insurability under company policy
