Tank Setter

Join R.H. Foster Energy - we are hiring a Tank Setter / Terminal Maintenance to install and service oil and LP gas fired appliances and related equipment in residential and commercial establishments. 

What You'll Do

• Install oil and propane storage tanks in compliance with state and NFPA codes
• Perform fuel line installation, piping, ductwork, and equipment setup
• Install and service heating systems (oil burners, propane appliances, HVAC systems)
• Troubleshoot and repair fuel and combustion systems
• Support tank & terminal maintenance and rail terminal operations
• Deliver, set, and remove tanks and heating equipment
• Complete service documentation and maintain OSHA and safety compliance

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in HVAC, fuel systems, propane, oil heat, or mechanical trades preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills
• Ability to work independently in a field service / technician role
• Willingness to obtain Maine certifications (Fuel Board, Propane, Tank Setter)
• High school diploma or equivalent
