- PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Position Overview
Our therapy team plays a critical role in delivering high-quality rehabilitative care to our residents. PRN team members will provide coverage as needed, supporting evaluations, treatments, and care plan development in collaboration with physicians, nursing, and other disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to resident needs
- Complete evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with regulatory and facility guidelines
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal outcomes
- Educate residents and families on treatment plans and goals
- Maintain compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and skilled nursing facility regulations
- Accurately document services in a timely manner
Qualifications
For OTR:
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current Ohio Occupational Therapy License (issued by the Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Trainers Board)
- Current NBCOT certification preferred
For PTA:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current Ohio PTA License
- Must work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
For SLP:
- Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
- Current Ohio SLP License (issued by the State of Ohio Speech and Hearing Professionals Board)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
All Positions:
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or post-acute setting preferred
- Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
- Knowledge of Medicare Part A & B guidelines is a plus
