The Internal Audit Summer Intern will provide administrative, organizational, and entry‑level audit support to the Internal Audit team.

Job Function
Audit Support
• Assist Internal Audit team members with basic audit tasks under close supervision
• Help organize and maintain audit documentation, files, and templates
• Assist with simple audit testing steps and data organization
• Help summarize information and prepare draft documentation or presentations
• Participate in team meetings
Administrative & Team Support
• Provide general administrative support to the Internal Audit team
• Assist with scheduling meetings
• Track audit requests, open items, and deliverables using spreadsheets or trackers
• Help prepare meeting agendas, materials, and follow‑up notes
• Maintain calendars and departmental files
• Perform other administrative or coordination tasks as needed to support the team
Learning & Development Opportunities
• Introduction to Internal Audit, risk management, and internal controls, including participation in team training sessions
• Exposure to how large organizations operate and manage risk
• Hands‑on experience working with professionals in a corporate environment
• Development of foundational skills in organization, communication, and professionalism

In office expectations: 3 days/week
Travel expectations: Potential local travel only
Required Skills
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in any major (Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related fields preferred but not required)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Professional attitude, reliability, and integrity
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Compensation Range
The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $24.00/Hr. - USD $25.00/Hr. depending on experience, qualifications, and location.
