Position Summary: Sales Specialist (Remote)

The Sales Specialist plays a key role in Charter Senior Living’s growth strategy by driving occupancy, revenue, and referral development across multiple communities.

You’ll partner with community teams and regional leadership to assess sales opportunities, implement best practices, train and mentor local sales staff, and deliver measurable results in census improvement and lead conversion.

This position requires travel to Charter communities to provide hands-on support and leadership as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Performance Leadership: Partner with community and regional teams to drive occupancy and revenue growth in both established and underperforming markets.

  • Pipeline Management: Analyze CRM data, follow-up patterns, and conversion ratios to strengthen lead generation and sales execution.

  • Training & Mentorship: Support local sales teams through coaching, goal setting, and hands-on sales development.

  • Community Outreach: Build relationships with referral sources, healthcare professionals, and community partners to increase qualified leads.

  • Strategic Marketing: Collaborate with marketing and operations leadership to align outreach campaigns and events with sales objectives.

  • On-Site Support: Step in to assist with tours, family meetings, and move-ins to ensure smooth transitions and excellent first impressions.

  • Reporting & Analytics: Track progress, report performance metrics, and recommend action plans to meet or exceed company goals.

Qualifications

Experience: 3+ years of successful sales experience in senior living, assisted living, memory care, or healthcare environments
Proven Record: Demonstrated success in occupancy growth, lead conversion, and relationship-driven sales
Leadership Skills: Experience mentoring or supporting multiple community sales teams preferred
Communication: Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred
Technology: Proficiency in CRM platforms, lead tracking, and virtual communication tools
Travel: Must be willing and able to travel to assigned communities as needed
