Hutchinson Public Schools is seeking a Teacher for our Summer Kindergarten Connection program at West Elementary. 

Kindergarten Connection is designed to help incoming kindergarteners be ready to start school in the fall. Candidates should hold an Elementary Education or Early Childhood licensure from the Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB) or contact the district for licensure options. This position will work up to 110 hours. The Kindergarten Connection program will run from July 6, 2026 through August 14, 2026. 

Summer school pay shall be pro-rated on the basis of two and one-quarter (2-1/4) hours of each two (2) hours of teaching. Benefits include Sick Leave and Retirement Plan with employer contribution. 

West Elementary is located on the west side of Hutchinson and serves students pre-K through 1st grade. West is a unique building where we educate the Districts' first learners � Preschool, Kindergarten, and First Graders.
