Job Description:We are seeking a skilled and licensed FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting drone operations, capturing aerial data, and ensuring compliance with all FAA regulations. Candidates with military or police experience, especially those who have operated drones during their service, are highly encouraged to apply.
This role requires a blend of technical expertise, data capture capabilities, and a strong commitment to safety.
Responsibilities:
Conduct drone flights in accordance with FAA Part 107 regulations and company policies
Capture high-quality aerial imagery, video, and data for applications including construction, inspections, disaster response, and mapping
Perform pre-flight planning, including site assessments, risk analysis, and obtaining necessary permissions
Ensure safe drone operations while adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines
Utilize mapping software, photogrammetry, and digital twin technologies for project deliverables
Conduct thermal imaging missions and analyze infrared data when required
Process and edit aerial data and imagery to meet client specifications
Maintain and troubleshoot drone equipment to ensure optimal performance
Stay current on advancements in drone technology, FAA regulations, and industry best practice
- Valid FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate (required)
- Experience operating non-DJI drone platforms (required)
- Experience with Blue UAS-listed drone systems (required)
- LiDAR data capture or operational experience (required)
Proven experience as a drone pilot with a strong portfolio of aerial work
Proficiency in flight planning, mission execution, and data capture
Strong technical knowledge of drone systems, sensors, and software
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality deliverables
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various job sites
Military or law enforcement experience involving drone operations
Experience in aerial surveying, inspections, or disaster response
Knowledge of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and advanced mapping software
Experience with photogrammetry, orthomosaic generation, and digital twin platforms
Familiarity with post-processing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar
Thermography certification or experience with thermal imaging
