Position Overview



Wiley University invites applications for a full-time faculty position supporting our undergraduate biology programs. We seek a dedicated scholar-educator passionate about delivering high-quality instruction in the life sciences and inspiring student curiosity and achievement. Primary Responsibilities



The successful candidate will:




  • Teach undergraduate courses in biology, which may include General Biology I & II, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Microbiology, Genetics, Cell Biology, and/or Ecology

  • Supervise laboratory sections and ensure safe, effective hands-on learning experiences that reinforce conceptual understanding

  • Provide academic mentoring and professional guidance to support student development in the sciences

  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, assessment practices, and continuous program improvement

  • Actively participate in departmental, college, and university service activities

  • Engage in ongoing scholarship and professional development to maintain disciplinary currency and pedagogical effectiveness

  • Report to the Department Chair or designated administrator and contribute to departmental goals
